The East Branch & Lincoln was a logging railroad in operation from 1893-1948, and this spur line is located off the North Fork Branch of the railroad.

Swampy areas along sled roads were corduroyed with small trees laid crossways. The East Branch & Lincoln was a logging railroad, which operated from 1893-1948.

Parts of the Zealand Trail follows the old railroad bed.
