  • The start of the Mittersill-Cannon hiking trail in Franconia, New Hampshire during the summer months. This trail starts at the base of Mittersill Mountain (parking lot 1 on Mittersill Road off of Rt. 18). And it follows ski trails and access roads up and over Mittersill to the summit of Cannon Mountain where it connects with the Kinsman Ridge Trail.

During the early years of the trail, it was part of the Franconia Ridge Trail. In the 1980s when the Clearbrook Condominium development was built this portion of the Osseo Trail was abandoned and rerouted to its current location.
