This spur line came off of the Carrigain Branch of the EB&L Railroad, and it was used to access the Notch Brook drainage of the Pemigewasset Wilderness. This small bridge crossed Notch Brook.

Livermore was a logging town in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and this village was located along the Sawyer River Railroad in the New Hampshire White Mountains.
