Title: North Twin Trail - Bethlehem, New Hampshire
Description: Remnants of a utility pole along the North Twin Trail in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Parts of this trail follow the old railroad bed of the Little River Railroad (1893-1900), which was a logging railroad owned by George Van Dyke. Though this old utility pole is along the railroad, it may have had no relation to the railroad. It was likely part of the telephone wire system leading to the Mount Hale fire tower (1929-1948).
Location: Bethlehem, New Hampshire, United States
