Description: Middle Sister Fire tower on Middle Sister Mountain in Albany, New Hampshire USA on a summer evening at twilight. This fire tower was in operation from 1927-1948. At the time of this photograph, the Forest Service radio repeater (seen in this photograph) was located inside the foundation of the groundhouse. However, since taking this photograph, the repeater has been moved out of the foundation.
