The site of trestle No. 7 along the East Branch & Lincoln Railroad (1893-1948) in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The brush in the foreground is where the original trestle No. 7 joined back into the railroad bed. Built in the early 1900s, probably 1902, this trestle crossed Franconia Brook just above where it drains into the East Branch of the Pemigewasset River. It serviced the Franconia and Lincoln Brook Branches of the railroad. The footbridge on the left is where the second trestle No. 7 was built. The second trestle serviced the area surrounding the East and North Fork Branches of the Pemigewasset River.
