Title: Mount Eisenhower - White Mountains, New Hampshire
Description: Mount Eisenhower (left center) and Mount Washington (behind right) from near the summit of Mount Pierce in the White Mountains, New Hampshire USA during the winter months. Mount Eisenhower was originally named Mount Pleasant in July 1820 by the Weeks-Brackett party, but after President Dwight D. Eisenhower died in March 1969, the mountain was renamed Mount Eisenhower.
