Title: East Branch of the Pemigewasset River - Lincoln, New Hampshire
Description: During the Lincoln, New Hampshire mill era (originally built by James E. Henry and Sons) in order to generate electric power for the mill, water at the Number 1 and Number 2 dams was diverted through large diameter wooden and steel penstock to turbines at the mill. These round steel hoops held the Number 1 Dam wooden penstock together.
