Remnants of the abandoned railroad bed at the Gale River Settlement in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. From 1874-1921 a railroad traveled through this area; the railroad was first used by the Gale River Railroad. This logging railroad was in operation from 1874-1878, and it ended at the Gale River Settlement.
