Title: Profile & Franconia Notch Railroad - Franconia, New Hampshire
Description: Remnants of stone splitting (plug and feathers) in the area of "The Great Trestle" along the Profile & Franconia Notch Railroad in Franconia, New Hampshire. This railroad was in operation from 1879-1921, and only serviced the Profile House in Franconia Notch. The old Route 3 was also in this general location so this boulder could also be from the building of the old Route 3.
Location: Franconia, New Hampshire, United States
