New Hampshire waterfall scenes; this gallery contains landscape photos of picturesque cascades and waterfalls in the New Hampshire White Mountains, northern New Hampshire, and surrounding area. Many of the waterfalls in this collection are well known, while others have been forgotten about and are considered lost. Waterfalls include Bridal Veil Falls, Beede Falls, Plimpton Falls, and Sparkling Cascade. For a larger preview and licensing information, click on photos.

But no official trail leads to this waterfall today, and during times of high water it can be difficult to reach Hardy Brook.

  • An old dam on Gibbs Brook in the New Hampshire White Mountains during the spring months. This dam, rebuilt in the 1960s, and piping system (out of sight) supplied water to the old Crawford House. The Crawford House was located where the AMC Highland Center is today. Crawford Path, the oldest continuously used mountain trail in America, passes by this dam.
