Swift River Railroad
(54 images)
The abandoned Swift River Railroad as it looks today. Operated by the Conway Company, this was a logging railroad that operated from 1906-1916 in the Swift River region of the New Hampshire White Mountains. The railroad began in Conway and traveled up alongside the Swift River following much of today’s Kancamagus Scenic Byway, and ended below Mount Kancamagus.
