Timber trestle No.16 along the abandoned East Branch & Lincoln Railroad in Lincoln, New Hampshire. The EB&L was a logging railroad (1893-1948) that traveled deep into today’s Pemigewasset Wilderness to harvest timber. This trestle was built in the early 1900s, probably 1906-1907, and the last log train rolled over it most likely in the summer or fall of 1946.
